It has an on-board sd-card and games can be stored in the SD-CARD and loaded through it. A special bootloader is preloaded into the chip which has the ability to load the games from the SD-card. Audio is also available through an internal speaker or through the headphone Jack. Also, a battery 3.7v lipo can be connected and through the on-board charging, the board can be recharged easily. Expansion is available through various ports, I2C, SPI, Serial, and Auxiliary port. With these ports, Additional hardware shields can be connected.
As a Universal controller one can only imagine what is possible to do with this board. Shields that can be connected are as follows.
Shields that can be connected "Some of them will be available in the coming months"
Servo Shield - Control up to 16 servos
Keyboard Shield - expand the internal keypad to a full keyboard
Expansion Shield Multiplex - control multiple things with an expander board
IR-Shield - control infra-red devices
Relay Shield - switch remote devices - 4 port and 8 port
WiFi Shield - turn the Gamebuino into an IOT device
GSM Shield - connect to a GSM to send SMS/Email
Led Shield - do an led show ! - RGB led / ws8212
Motor Shield - control a D.C. Motor
Stepper Shield - control a stepper Motor
and many more...
** Shields Listed are yet to be developed in the near future.
