The WSPR Beacon V2 is a compact, high-efficiency HF weak signal propagation reporter (WSPR) transmitter designed for continuous or scheduled beacon operation. Built around the reliable ATmega328 AVR microcontroller and the precision Si5351 frequency synthesizer, this unit delivers stable, accurate RF output for long-term propagation studies and amateur radio experimentation.
The transmitter uses a 3 × BS170 MOSFET RF output stage, providing up to 5 watts output on 20 meters, making it suitable for reliable HF beacon coverage and worldwide WSPR signal reporting.
Designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind, the WSPR Beacon V2 includes a comprehensive menu system, allowing users to configure frequency, band selection, power settings, and beacon timing without external programming tools.
