100Watt Dummy Load (20xResistors Array)The dummy Load uses 20 1Kilo-Ohm 3 watt non-inductive resistors in parallel to achieve 50 Ohms over a wide frequency range. It is submerged in oil to allow somewhat extended operation during tuning or repair procedures. The advantages are: (1) It's cheap, only 2 PCB's act as the connection (2) It provides a very pure 50 Ohm resistance load through 30 MHz and beyond, (3) You can easily add power measurement and rig testing capability.(PCB has a place to install on board a diode and a capacitor ) This one is conservatively designed for rigs that have power output levels up to 100 watt. I built it into a one-quart paint can, readily available at Ace Hardware for about 89 cents. Supplied pcbs can be easily assembled with readily available resistors carbon film .. 40M CW TRX QRP Pixie Kit 7.023-7.026MHzThe Pixie radio is a very simple -watt 40-meter CW transceiver. It is a QRP crystal-controlled unit with a basic straight key input and minimal components. An Amateur Radio license is required to use this kit and to transmit with it. Once built, it has a fixed transmit frequency of 7.023 MHz. The receive frequency can be shifted a few hundred Hz using the variable potentiometer. ADX-MINI QRP Antenna TunerWhat is it? The ADX Mini QRP Tuner, designed by Scott Baker (KJ7NLA), is a Pi-network antenna tuner. It features two hex switch arrays acting as a variable capacitor, plus four inductors with binary values (1, 2, 4, 8 µH) and switches across them to vary total inductance. The board also includes an SWR indicator circuit with an LED, allowing you to tune correctly and detect high SWR. Why did you make it? For POTA contests, this tuner is exceptionally small, lightweight, and gets the job done without bulky gear. What makes it special? This QRP antenna tuner is a versatile gadget that lets you easily tune any vertical or horizontal antenna.

AVR Gated GPS Locked Frequency Counter/StandardWhat is it? The Gated GPS Locked Frequency Counter / Frequency Standard is a standalone unit that uses the 1PPS signal from a GPS module to calibrate its internal frequency and lock to it. It can then operate in two modes: Frequency Counter Mode measure external frequencies with GPS-calibrated accuracy Frequency Standard Mode provide a precise reference frequency An Si5351 module generates the reference frequency standard, while the GPS lock ensures exceptional long-term accuracy. Why did I make it? My old frequency counter was always a few Hz off. This project solves that problem using a dual 16-bit counter configured as a single 32-bit counter. The frequency to be measured is converted to a square wave, fed to the counter chip, and represented as a 32-bit binary number. An ATmega328 reads this value and converts it to the displayed measured frequency.
